Privacy Policy

Calendot does not require a Calendot account, track you, show ads, or use third-party analytics. Unshared calendars stay on your device. If you choose to share a calendar, its data is stored and synchronized through Apple iCloud using CloudKit and is available only to the people you invite.
Information Calendot stores
Calendot stores the calendars, marks, colors, preferences, reminder settings, and other content you create locally on your device. This information is needed for the app to work. Calendars that you do not share remain on your device.
No developer tracking or advertising
Calendot does not create its own user accounts, use advertising identifiers, run advertising trackers, or use third-party analytics services. We do not sell your personal information or use your calendar content for advertising. Calendot does not operate a server that receives your calendar content.
iCloud and shared calendars
If you choose to share a calendar, Calendot stores and synchronizes that calendar, its marks, and related content through Apple CloudKit in your iCloud account. Sharing requires you to be signed in to iCloud. Apple processes this data under its own terms and privacy policy. Calendot does not operate the CloudKit infrastructure or receive this content on developer-operated servers.
People you share with
Only calendars you explicitly share are made available to invited participants. Depending on the permission you choose, a participant may view or edit the shared calendar. Participants can see the calendar content you share, and their changes may be synchronized to other participants. The calendar owner can manage access using Apple's sharing controls.
Widget data
Calendot may share the calendar information required to display and update your selected calendar with its Home Screen widget. This happens locally through the app's shared storage on your device.
Notifications
If you enable the optional daily reminder, Calendot asks iOS for notification permission and schedules the reminder locally. You can disable it at any time in Calendot or iOS Settings.
Data retention and deletion
Local Calendot data remains on your device until you change or delete it. Deleting the app may remove locally stored data. Shared-calendar data may remain in iCloud until the calendar owner deletes the shared calendar or stops sharing it, subject to Apple's iCloud and CloudKit retention practices. Invited participants may retain information they previously viewed or copied.
Children's privacy
Calendot is not designed to collect personal information from children. The app does not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if Calendot's features or privacy practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show the latest revision.
